St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School is proud to host its second annual Fashion Show, A Walk in Central Park. The evening will be an intimate showcase of designer fashion and delicious cuisine provided by Nucci’s Restaurant. The show will be coordinated by Liz Hemmerle, President, and Emily Paragallo, Vice President, of Sea’s Fashion Club. We’ve also pulled all the stops and brought in Marissa Rizzuto, CEO of Fashion Bootcamp 101, to lend her expertise. Mrs. Rizzuto is regularly featured on television, formerly coordinated fashion accessories for pop icon Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, and is considered a thought leader regarding trends and style. We are honored to have her on board.
The purpose of the show is not only to highlight top designers, fashion service providers, and local Staten Island businesses but more importantly to raise funds in honor of Anthony Rizzo. Mr. Rizzo was one of Sea’s brightest stars who tragically passed away. All proceeds raised will be donated to The Monsignor Joseph C. Ansaldi Fund in his name. The Ansaldi Fund was created with one purpose in mind, and that is to keep the cost of Catholic Education affordable for future generations by providing every Sea student with a scholarship each year. Last year’s event raised over $16,000 in his honor, and this year we are planning to increase that amount.
The event will take place on Wednesday, February 29th at 7pm at St. Joseph by-the-Sea H.S. and will be set up like a Manhattan runway fashion show meaning cocktail style, and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, raffles, give-aways, entertainment by renowned E-Squared Productions, and of course our runway fashion show featuring our student models. Tickets are $65 for adults and $25 for current high school students.
